2018 International Conference on Matrix Inequalities & Matrix Equations, Shanghai University, Shanghai, China

Hello,  I'm Daryl. :]

I am currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at De La Salle University.

I am also the Graduate Program Coordinator of my department and the faculty co-adviser of the DLSU Mathematics Circle. If you are interested in the department's degree programs, click here.

I obtained my PhD from Auburn University under the supervision of Tin-Yau Tam, professor emeritus at Auburn and currently professor at the University of Nevada, Reno.

Before that, I completed my MS and BS (magna cum laude) degrees at the University of the Philippines Diliman (UPD), under Dennis Merino, professor at Southeastern Louisiana University, and Agnes Paras, professor at UPD.

You can trace my math lineage here.

My research is primarily about matrix decompositions and canonical forms.

I have a strong interest in the history of mathematics and in improving mathematics education, particularly within the Philippine context. I hope to contribute to these areas in the future.

I spend most of my free time reading and writing.

I also play and stream video games, mainly Final Fantasy XIV (playtime: 19828 hours, currently on hiatus).

You may reach me via email at daryl.granario@dlsu.edu.ph (business matters) or on Discord at @qwebbie. Please introduce yourself when messaging me for the first time.
